A lake house that actually feels like the lake.
Most Indian Lake rentals sit a block off the water. This one sits on it. The great room wraps around 180° of lake views through floor-to-ceiling windows — so whether you're making coffee, eating dinner, or playing cards at the built-in bar, the water is always the backdrop.
Outside, the patio runs right up to a private dock that fits a full-sized boat plus a kayak or two. A patio fireplace keeps the nights going. The hot tub stays at temp 24/7, year-round.
Good for groups, easy for families.
Three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, sleeps up to seven. Multiple hangout areas so the early risers and late-nighters can spread out. A jacuzzi tub in the master for the quiet hour after everyone else turns in. Board games and space for kids to roam.
The built-in bar is the unofficial center of gravity. Full kitchen with sharp knives, real cookware, and the basics stocked so you're not running to the store for salt and coffee the second you arrive.
Bring the boat, or don't.
The dock is long enough to tie up a full-size boat and still have room for kayaks or paddleboards. If you don't have a boat, there's a public boat launch a few minutes away, and local rental outfits run pontoons by the day.
Fishing off the dock is excellent at dawn and dusk. The lake's a little over 5,000 acres — plenty of room to explore.
Getting to Indian Lake.
About 90 minutes northwest of Columbus via US-33 W. Two hours from Cincinnati, 2.5 hours from Cleveland. The house is in Russells Point, on the southeast side of the lake. Smart-lock check-in means you can arrive whenever the drive works — no handoffs.
